    About

As soon as I saw the pattern I had to make this! Started it, then got requests for other jumpers to finish first

    Pattern

    Avena

This pattern can be found here:
    www.ravelry.com

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 3.25mm (US 3)
    • Circular 3.75mm (US 5)
    • Circular 3.50mm (US 4)

    Accessories

Other : Wooden spoons for ‘bashing’ the wrong side of the fair isle section whilst damp to smooth out and ripples - my other half loves to help with this part

    Measurements

Notes: Used dk for the worsted weight pattern so made size D (42 inch) to get a 36 ish size.
Changed the ribbed hem to a folded hem so it hangs nicely rather than hugging bits you don’t want to be hugged!

Thank you Tamara. I’m in the process of ripping back UFO’s that are too boring colour wise to continue with.

Thank you Michelle. I find the most difficult part of top down sweaters is to slow down and concentrate on reading the pattern instead of full steam ahead with all the excitement of a new project!

Thank you Jacquie. Better to bash the floats than each other 🤣
