Baby blanket

I made this for My son and daughter in laws baby due in May.

    Found this wonderful pattern on LoveKnitting and decided to use CaronCakes which we can get here in OZ easily. They don't know the sex of the baby and so used various shades of the variegated wool eg the pinks and blues but kept a base of the alternating creams and then this also for the borders. So easy and enjoyable to knit and was so popular my daughter wanted a larger one for her lounge. Easy to add on panels and borders. xoxo
    Now doing another which I am using left overs and whatever colours are available and on special here. Is easy to carry to and from my visits with my Mum and to put down and pick up easily.... keeping the complicated lace patterns I so love for here at home
