    About

I received vouchers for Xmas from Joe's parents and wanted to spend them to make something we would both use, but also want to keep. I also wanted to try something I hadn't done before and although this is an intermediate pattern there are lots of unfamiliar elements and I am looking forward to getting stuck in.

Updated with a new pic of the first 5 repeats, so 1/3 of the project completed.
Biggest issue being my own mistakes and I keep forgetting to put in recovery lines so I keep having to Tink it back rather than rip.
Totally worth it though. It’s quite gorgeous 💜

I’ve added a picture of the first pattern repeat.

Only 14 more repeats to go!!
I’ve made some pattern changes that are listed in the project.

Isn’t it? I hardly ever have the cash to choose and buy wool, it was exciting! Normally I use yarn people have given me or buy from charity shops. This feels very fancy.

@Alex T: then this is an amazing present. You will treasure this 🥰
I too go to our local craft charity shop for yarn , good to recycle.
