    About

I have loads of DK yarn left over from knitting blankets for animal shelters so thought I'd try making a simple toy. The caterpillar took about an hour to knit but around 4 times that to make up! As it's for a baby I didn't use beads or glue, just wool, embroidery silk (for the eyes and mouth) and small pieces of felt for the eyes. My sewing skills are not the best but I still think he/she looks very cute with his/her pink wool cheeks and silly grin!
