    About

I’m just addicted to knitting these gnomes (like some other ladies on here!) and as I’ve decided to give some as Xmas presents it gives me a great excuse to knit more! As I knit one I’m already planning colour combos for the next!

Beautiful ! I might try to do one of these. I do prefer to knit in the round though. I don't like seaming the flat pieces. :)

You're so good at these now Dianne. I've still not succumbed but I have an idea of one I would like to do so it's probably only a matter of time before I fall under the gnome spell!

Aww another beauty! Just love her name, really suits her. What lovely colours you have chosen. I do hope you are stash busting rather than buying in more yarns (like I do!)

Thanks Pat. Some of the dk yarns are from my stash but I seem to have acquired a lot of fur yarns recently, who knew getting yarn by post could be so thrilling! 😂

Thanks Michelle, I’m happy with how they’ve turned out, they have their own wee characters.😂 I’m planning a festive one next... Sadly knitting outside doesn’t happen much in Scotland, the weathers rubbish. What my husband wants is someone to talk about Politics with unfortunately! 🤣

Fab! Love the purple with the blue. Another winner. Your garden looks pretty good too lol. I keep checking out the Community page just to see if another gnome, has been added, then get excited when I see a new one. I think I need help.

Thanks Denise, I like her too. I’m glad I worked out how to sew up the shoes, they look so neat now. I keep my eye open for new gnomes too... The garden is my husbands domain and he’s a bit OCD with it luckily for me. He is getting pretty fed up with my knitting unfortunately, he says I do it all the time except when I’m out which is sadly true! 😂

Another great Gnome Dianne, I wonder if Pat realised what she was doing with this pattern, it's an absolute classic and like you I love them all.💖💕
