    About

I purchased the Debbie Bliss Jarred Scarf pattern and the Iris wool. I had done the first colour but it wasn’t “singing” for me. I left it unfinished for at least 9 months. It was sitting in the drawer making me feel guilty when I saw it. So I took the plunge, pulled it all back - which was horrible as it kept getting snagged due to the fluff. I immediately felt better. I didn’t get on with the suggested pattern and mistakes stood out like a sore thumb and I found correcting them impossible. So I did it in broken seed stitch with DPNs. Finished in a week, whereas with the proper pattern it took forever. It is so soft. Backed it with a scarf to give it bit of substance and the effect of the stitch is lovely. The stripe is due to me not wanting to have any wool left over
