    About

This lace shawl is knitted from fingering weight yarn.
I have intentionally picked simple lace motifs so that if you are new to lace knitting, or wanted a project you can do in front of the television, this would be a good project for you.

I have named this shawl after the Great Barrier Reef, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world.

I don’t normally knit projects in stark white yarn, and when I started knitting, it reminded me of the spectacular Whitehaven Beach - one of the iconic beaches on the Great Barrier Reef.
