It’s Spring

I made this for the next baby to come along.

    About

The blanket is part of a set with the Rainbow Baby Jacket and Hat. The lamb is Primrose Lamb by Alan Dart. The blanket was knitted in Cygnet Kiddies Kaleidoscope and the lamb was made from King Cole Truffle. It was really tricky to attach the back legs to the body of the lamb!

As soon as I saw this lamb I though of those back legs πŸ˜† It's a couple of years since I made it but I do remember struggling with them. But I got there in the end and so did you as she looks fabulous with the blanket.

Thank you, Christine. I actually knitted one of the back legs twice as I dropped a stitch and found the yarn impossible to unpick. 😊

Thanks, Anita. That yarn was a bit of a find; it’s beautifully soft. Even though I’m trying desperately to use up yarn in my stash, I couldn’t help buying more last week. πŸ’•

Funny 😁, Twinkletoes, my grandma always said I was like a cart horse the amount of noise I used to make! Never light on my feet, born with tacketity boots onπŸ˜‚! Your blanket is just beautiful, I love the wool you have used, the colours are lovely, perfect for baby, either sex too. The little lamb is just adorable too. Beautiful gifts for a new baby 😊
