Knit Me Scarf

I made this for my gift stash

    About

Trying to use up stash yarn and knitted this scarf to add to my gift pile. I’ve knitted this pattern several times and it’s always a a success. Unfortunately on this occasion the yarn was a nightmare to knit so I kept leaving it and only picking it up occasionally to knit a few rows. The yarn is very splitty and although I am really happy with the scarf I would not use this yarn again (I have 2 other colours in my stash!).

Notes: I knitted until I ran out of yarn. One ball made a good sized scarf.

Thank you Jacquie. I have gifted it to my hairdresser for Christmas. I’m sure she’ll like it, it’s just her colour.

      What a gorgeous scarf ❤️
Such a shame the yarn wasn’t nice to work with, but well done for persevering 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
      I’m not sure I would have 🤣
As you say ‘ life is too short to knit with bad yarn ‘ 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This is stunning. At first glance I thought it was shot silk fabric. Those are gorgeous colours and it's a lovely shape and style.

Thank you Michelle. I’m very happy with the scarf so it makes it worthwhile persevering. I could quite easily have abandoned it! Life’s too short to knit with bad yarn.

Pretty scarf. What a shame about the wool ( especially as you have more of it to use up)

Thank you Cheryl. I’ll probably take the yarn to knit and natter, someone may make use of it.

Thank you Helen, the yarn is lovely and light when knitted up, just not so great to work with. I really like the scarf.
