    About

It only took 15 years to finish the first sweater I started. I’ve been carrying around a ratty old Family Circle magazine through how many moves? It’s a great magazine though, it happens to have some really great classic patterns in it and I was happy to find it archived online to post here (pg 78).

Having a bit more experience now with gauge and choosing yarns, I can see that this little sweater is just a bit off. While the style seems to be a little on the boxy and baggy side with the shoulder seams meant to hang low, the proportions might still be a bit off. Nonetheless, it’s finished! My husband thinks it’s funny in all it’s misshapen glory and says that it will be for our next child who we will call “Trunk.”
