    About

Having been doing some basic crochet of smaller items for the last couple of months, I thought I'd try my hand at this fairly basic, but interesting to look at, crochet top. Pleased to find this free pattern on the Love Crafts website; its described as suitable for "intermediate" level crocheters and I think its ideal for anyone who has acquired the basic crochet skills such as creating a beginning chain stitch and working with double, half-treble and treble crochet. With any luck, I'll get some wear out of this for what remains of our British summer :-)

It’s very lovely. I making it now. I have a question. Did you sew your sleeves on and then seam down the sides of the sweater? I have not worked a project like this previously. Thank you.

Hi Deanne, thanks. I did sew the sleeves on first, before sewing the side seams. I usually find it easier doing this in both my knitting snd crochet projects. Good luck and i look forward to seeing pics of your finished project.

Hi Deanne, glad youve finished it. When you create a new project on the Love Crafts website, there's a section called Photos and when you are on that page, you click on the "Add Image" icon to upload a new photo. Hope this helps, if you still have a problem, the Love Crafts customer support team are usually pretty good resolving problems like this. I look forward to seeing the pics, 🙂
