    About

I said to Michael I want to make a big bear out of some new wool I had brought from Spotlight. Well I didn't realise how big he was going to be. I love him, even if I had to stand up to stuff him and I ended up with a sore thumb from all the knitting.lol.😊😊I love Pat's patterns so easy to follow, and I'm always really happy how they turn out.I have just added Baby Bear, I made him out of the same wool but luckily was a bit smaller. It is Pat's baby bear pattern, that is on Etsy.πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜

Oh thank you Jayne,he was so big that by the time I finished sewing him up I was thank golly you are finished and it wasn't till the next time I had time to really stop and think oh you are big but cute.😊😊well I could send him over but he would need his own seat on the plane and he would be too squished in economy, so first class tickets please.lol.
Maybe you could knit one just like him.😊😊

Thank you Denise, I am so happy with my huge bear.i always try to put smiley faces on them.😊😊
You would certainly love making these bears this type of yarn is not as hard to knit with as the long eyelash wool just very thick.I have just seen Pat's beautiful new pattern, so I think a pinky one then, brown, white etc.lol😊😊

@Michelle M: I've just seen Pat's new pattern too. I'm tempted but I have so many things to do before Christmas I will have to resist. It's maybe a project for the dark winter months at the beginning of next year, when there is not so much to do!

@Michelle M: ahhhh your smaller bear is too cute as well, bears are so unique, they each have their own little personalities that come to life! I love knitting them a bit bigger or choosing different colours like you, they just work out so unique! Xx

@Helen B: it's funny isn't it I always get nervous when I do the face, and I always leave it till last. The face is the make and break part. It's fun isn't it making them in different colours, and using different wool I think it makes them more unique and special.😊😊look forward to seeing your next wee one.

@Dianne S: I haven't knitted a gnome yet but if I can help in anyway I will.😊I was thinking of you the other day I was looking at the lets knit mag online and there was an ad from a lady saying"love knitting but hate the sewing up,I will do it for you".I got the giggles and thought I have to tell Dianne about that.😁😁

He is gorgeous Michelle and worth the standing up and the sore thumb. I love these bears with the alternative yarn faces rather than just the muzzle as Jennifer said it makes them look happy. Pat does do a smaller version of this one just called "Baby Bear" I don't think it's on this site but it is on Etsy.
