    About

I decided I wanted to make a crochet rug for my bedroom and had quite a bit of yarn left. My mum has several yellow accessories in her lounge and didn't like the colour of her Pouffe anymore as it had gotten old and shabby looking. So I used the same pattern for the rug and the remaining yarn to make a cover for the pouffe. They look so good together that she might get to keep them and I'll have to buy more yarn.
The yarn is so soft and smooth to work with and works up so quickly I made the pair in two days.

Notes: I followed the pattern exactly when I made the rug. But when I did the pouffe cover I worked up to round 9 in pattern. Then I did a round of sc in back loops, decreasing 8 stitches evenly. The remainder was just rounds of DC until it was deep enough and a final row of HDC.
