    About

I’d never tried lace knitting before so there were a few hiccups along the way. Using a fine yarn means that the mistakes that stayed in are almost impossible to see in the busy pattern. With my yearn I ended up with 450 stitches so the picot bind off took 5 hours (!) but it was worth it because it looks great. I had to use markers every 22 stitches in the C sections so I didn’t lose my place, moving the markers forward one stitch on odd rows. It was the only way I could keep track. I’d knit this again for someone else, but with a thicker yarn.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 3.25mm (US 3) 80cm

    Measurements

    168 cm x 76

Notes: It’s a clever pattern because it keeps building so you can stop after any of the 20 row C sections. The yarn in the pattern has four repeats of section C. I did nine with this yarn.
