Three bears

    About

These are three of five bears I have made one after the other. Three are for babies due in the autumn, one for a soon to be big brother and one for a birthday boy. I usually knit upright bears (Little Ted and Blueberry Bear) but I thought I would have a go at sitting down ones this time. After five, I think I have the hang of it! Like all Pat's patterns it was easy to follow and I love the choice of waistcoats. I find faces harder when I can't use safety eyes and it takes me a while until I am satisfied with the look.

Yes, I think you can safely say you've mastered this bear lol They are simply gorgeous! I hadn't realised you'd not used safety eyes until I read your project notes!! They are perfect, so hard to get right aren't they but you've got them to a T! These bears are going to be "that" favourite toy you know lol

I love these bears Sue! The yarns you have chosen are gorgeous. Their contrast foot pads and waistcoats are so nice and their faces are perfect. You should really post these individually! 😍

How gorgeous are your wee bears, you have made a lovely job of their eyes,it's hard to embroider that type of wool.
