    About

    I wanted to knit a delicate baby shawl/ blanket for my soon to be born grandson ( he’s due the end of February). My daughter-in-law, Mia, is from Denmark and sadly no longer has her parents. So, I’ve been knitting up a storm for all things ‘baby’ - cardigans, socks, hats, trousers etc. But I wanted to make a delicate shawl as a keepsake for her, and any further children. I’m so excited to meet my new grandson!!! And to keep with Mia’s Nordic heritage, I’ve just started some of the beautiful Nordic patterns (wonderfully free patterns on LoveKnitting) from Viking of Norway.
