The unusual spiral shape of the Burning Branch Shawl is generated naturally from the placement of increases. Leaf shapes grow in size by the same process, highlighting the colours in the yarn.

Yarn Requirements: 1 skein Valley Yarns Leyden (75% Superwash Merino Wool/ 25% Nylon; 100g/437yds) shown in #05
Needles: US size 4 (3.50mm)
Gauge: 6 sts = 1” in stocking stitch before blocking
