Another free pattern to help keep you warm over the colder months. Great for wearing under anorak hoods, with the added benefit that the yarn texture helps keep your hood in place! Easy and quick to do - use leftover balls of DK and personalise your stripe colours ....or add a pom-pom.
Materials: Sirdar Snuggly D/K or Sirdar Country Style D/K: 2 x 50 g balls A and B; pair 3½ mm needles. Tension: 21½ sts and 43 rows to 10 cm worked over garter stitch using 3½ mm needles. Abbreviations: k – knit; sl 1p – slip 1 stitch purlways; rep – repeat; tog – together; rem – remaining; R/S – right side of work; W/S – wrong side of work.
