Product Details
Bertha is a classic raglan sweater, featuring a fun and easy-to-memorise Bubble stitch pattern with 3D effect. It’s knitted flat from the bottom edge upward to the neck in four pieces for the ultimate fit: a back, a front and then two identical sleeves. Pieces are seamed together at the end, then stitches are picked up for the generous doubled, ribbed turtleneck.
Intended to be worn with 15.5-21.5 cm / 6.5-8.5” of positive ease at bust. Sample in picture shown in size 2 with 17 cm / 7” positive ease at bust.
Gauge: 14 sts and 31.25 rows = 10 cm / 4” over Bubble stitch. Gauge swatch worked back and forth in rows on size 5 mm / US 8 needles.
