Make this cute set for your own little Cormack … the booties are knit in one-piece (and are seamless) with just a bit of colorwork while the cap has a nice thick and of colorwork, ending in a rounded top.
The sample is done in a washable worsted wool using four colors … about 115 yards of the main color (here a light khaki) and approx 20 yards of each of the contrasting colors.
Directions are both charted and written out.
approx 175 (100 for tam/cap and 75 for booties) yards of washable, worsted-weight wool yarn (sample used Kraemer’s Summit Hill in four colors:
o MC (Pyrite) – 115 yards
o CC1 (Onyx) – 20 yards
o CC2 (Aquamarine) – 20 yards
o CC3 (Sky) – 20 yards
US #6 dpns
US #6 circs (16- and 24-inch lengths)
