Product Details

The original yarn is no longer available, the pattern has been updated (November 2017) and worked in West Yorkshire Spinners Aire Valley Aran Fusion or The Croft, but they can also be worked in West Yorkshire Spinners Aire Valley DK. The mitts features raised treble lines which flow into the ribbing. There are finger divisions (which can be omitted) to help hold the mitts in position. The hands and thumbs are finished with a row of reverse double crochet.

They are worked in the round, from the wrist upwards, with the ribbing being added afterwards. There is a choice of slip stitch or raised treble ribbing.

Different sizes can be worked using a smaller or larger hook size to keep the continuity of pattern.

The pattern has written instructions only and uses UK terminology.

Sills required: trebles, raised trebles, slip stitch, reverse double crochet, decreasing, working in the round,
