This cardigan is a little sister of Hento design, a sweater that I designed for Laine Magazine Issue 15. Worked in relatively loose gauge to give light and airy fabric this sweater is a lovely light cardigan for spring or autumn. Basic brioche knitting skills needed, tutorial links included in the pattern.
Recommended ease 25.5 cm. The sample is shown in size 2 and worn on 34” / 85 cm bust with approx. 25 cm positive ease. Fit to bust sizes: Approx. 75 (85, 95, 105, 115) (125, 135, 145, 155) cm
FINISHED Bust Circumference: 100 (110, 120, 130, 140) (153.5, 160, 170, 180) cm.
The cardigan is knitted with two yarns held together throughout the pattern:
6 (6, 6, 7, 7) (8, 8, 8, 9) skeins of Pascuali Pinta (60% merino extrafine, 20% silk, 20% ramie, 232 yds / 212 m – 50 g)
AND
6 (6, 7, 7, 8) (8, 8, 9, 9) skeins of Pascuali Manada (45 % mohair, 25% silk, 15% merino, 15% yak, 219 yds / 200 m – 25 g)
