The prototype pictured, made its debut in the USA in November 2016 where I was also able to wear underneath the poncho when needed, a lightweight, single layer windbreaker jacket.
The ‘Kiwi Traveler’ prototype was designed using a top quality, New Zealand produced yarn, manufactured by Touch Yarns in Central Otago, New Zealand. The Fibre content is 70% fine kid mohair / 20% merino wool / 10% wool binder.
Knitted in one piece, with simple cables interspersed between knit and purl (stripe effect) texturing, 'KiwiTraveler' is finished with only one seam.
