Product Details
This blanket uses solid granny squares which are made using the tapestry crochet technique. The squares join together to make a striking geometric pattern of colourful diamonds.
This pattern uses DK weight yarn. I used bright neon colours which is why I have called the pattern the ‘Luminous Square’, but you could use any colours you like.
Yarn used: Scheepjes Colour Crafter 2-3 balls in Leerdam 1263 (Yarn A) 1 ball in Eelde 1422 (Yarn B) 1 ball in Mechelen 2013 (Yarn C)
Size: 72 x 72 cm You can make a larger blanket by increasing the number of squares; you will of course need more yarn than the amounts specified above.
The pattern includes a clear chart and some handy photos which help to demonstrate the more tricky parts of the pattern.
