Product Details
Pempele. A very delicate and feminine shawl that reminds of a flowery meadow with lots of beautiful butterflies on it. Perfect for warmer seasons as a light cover against cold breeze, perfect for posh occasions when you want to make a great impression, perfect for presents and gifts.
Yarn – lace to fingering. My shawls are exactly the same. Each one was knit with one skein of Juniper Moon Farm Findley (100g = 730m/798y) on US 4 / 3.5mm needles. The shawls measure 51x162cm / 20x64 inches blocked.
Needles - any size according with the yarn you use.
Size can be adaptable in both width and length. On the one hand, the overall size depends on the yarn weight and needles, on the other hand you can add repeats to make the shawl longer or increase / decrease the number of stitches you cast on to make it wider or narrower.
Level - you need to know how to do provisional cast-on, k2tog, ssk and picot bind-off.
The pattern has been tested by several native English speakers.
