A beautiful blend of merino wool, alpaca and viscose, Rowan Felted Tweed DK has been lightly pre-felted to produce a felted look when knitted up. The rustic colour palette makes this yarn perfect for fair isles, striping and other colour work - and a favourite with Rowan designers. Love the range of colours and its softness, though difficult to find patterns I like.
Lovely colours and knits well but one ball did snap a few times whilst working some tight increases whilst knitting in the round, which was not ideal.
I love Rowan's felted tweed for both knitting and crochet. It keeps its shape, breaks off easily for crocheting, and comes in a gorgeous array of colors. It is my go-to yarn.

It's super with such a range of colours you want them all! The yarn knits up beautifully and is soft light and warm. Possibly a very lightweight DK but this is marginal. I would definitely buy it again.
It’s a very hard wearing yarn and of course Rowan’s name suggests quality that I’ve used on a number of occasions. However I think my choice for this particular sweater should have been different. The issue I’m having is trying to rip back a top down colourwork sweater that’s coming up too wide, but the yarn keeps felting, making it impossible. This could end up being a very costly and long winded mistake - time will tell.
