What you'll need
Product Details
The sweater can be knitted either stocking stitch or, by following the charts, in the Diamond Brocade Stitch.
This pattern involves colour changes. Use separate balls for all changes. The pattern calls for 8 to 9 balls of main colour and 1 ball of contrast colour.
Note: For smaller portions of the pattern, when working from chart, carry yarn not in use loosely across wrong side of work but not over more than 5 stitches. When it must pass over more than 5 stitches, weave it over and under colour in use on next stitch or at center point of stitches it passes over. Do not twist colours around one another.
Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rows = 4 ins (10 cm) with 41/2 mm needles in stocking st.
