Product Details
Sowing Seeds is a colorblock wrap that is knit flat. It uses knit and purl stitches, so if you can follow a written pattern, you can make this wrap!
The pattern is a subtle stripe using seed stitch. The wrap is knit in 5 sections, each with the stripe leaning to the right or the left, alternating between each section.
I used 3 colors in my sample, but you can totally make this your own, using only 1 color, alternating 2 colors, using 3 as I did, or use 5 different colors. I used LionBrand's Truboo yarn, 5 skeins total, 2 each of colors A (Seafoam) and B (white), and 1 for color C (blue).
If substituting yarn, be sure to select one that has good stitch definition. A fuzzier yarn, or a variegated one, will make the stitch pattern more subtle.
Gauge is also not super critical. Just remember that a different gauge, or using a worsted weight yarn for example, will affect the final dimensions and yardage used.
