Simple and quick - this aran-weight soft and squishy unisex sporty beanie is a great basic piece for anyone’s wardrobe. Pattern is offered in one size to fit most teens-adults. VERY stretchy and slightly oversized, can be worn with a slouch (pulled up or folded down) as directed in the pattern; or knitted a bit shorter for a more fitted shape.
You will need a 3mm and a 4.5mm circular needle... to make a slightly smaller version all over, use 4mm needles instead of 4.5.
Designed for Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran yarn but can be made in any similar yarn - check gauge as your results may vary. Uses 2 balls of main colour and an optional ball of contrast colour if you want to knit stripes. Yarn will be left over.
