This style has a lot of drape in the front. The bust measurement is based on the width of the back (how wide it naturally sits) - it is very flexible and can expand.
Sultry summer days call for slinky knits. This will make up great in any drapey yarn. I used a thin ribbon yarn, but I think a thin mohair might also be effective, or some of the new cellulose fibres. Knit on the bias, for the swag. Easy, but not fast.
Tension Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rows = 10 cm / 4" over St st using 5.5mm needles and measured on a flat surface (fabric is like liquid, so its had to get an accurate count)
Yarn amounts: 770 (880, 987, 1110, 1252, 1433) m / 842 (962, 1079, 1214, 1369, 1567) yd of a sport or DK (lightweight) drapey yarn. Rayon, bamboo, nylon etc...
