Product Details
This cowl is the companion to my Tudor Hat utilising the same adaptation of one of my favourite stitch patterns, the Tudor Grillwork cable pattern, for knitting in the round. The twisted stitches and cables give deep texture, standing out from the reverse stocking stitch background.
The sample (Small) was made using Colourmart Merino 24/48 Aran Weight (109 yards/100m per 50 grammes). This yarn knits as a worsted weight yarn rather than a traditional aran weight yarn.
The cowl is easily adaptable to other sizes - guidance is provided in the pattern.
The pattern is charted using StitchMastery and includes full written instructions.
Stitches used: k, p, kfb, k2tog, RT (link to tutorial provided), simple 4-stitch cables
