I'm still quite new to this and very happy how my pattern has come out, I hope it makes sense to you and you enjoy knitting up this baby blanket as much as I did!
this is the pattern I followed below:-
I used DK yarn with US7 needles & long tail cast on - 94 stitches
Knit 10 rows for the border
1) S1, K4, K3 - **C3F - knit 6** K8
2) S1, K4, Purl to last 5, K5
3) S1, Knit row
4) S1, K4, Purl to last 5, K5
5) S1, Knit row
6) S1, K4, Purl to last 5, K5
repeat rows 1 - 6 / 2 more times
19) S1, K4, K3 - **C3B - knit 6** - K8
20) S1, K4, Purl to last 5, K5
21) S1, Knit row
22) S1, K4, Purl to last 5, K5
23) S1, Knit row
24) S1, K4, Purl to last 5, K5
25) S1, Knit row
26) S1, K4, Purl to last 5, K5
Back to row 1- Knit to desired size
