Product Details
Worked top down and in the round from a pretty deep ribbed cuff, this hot water bottle cover uses less than 100gm of aran weight yarn. I chose to cast off the stitches at the base of the cover using a three needle bind-off, but a Kitchener stitch grafted join would work equally well. Its uncomplicated design means that there's nothing to catch on feet or clothing but the ribbon trim adds a romantic touch of elegance. This is threaded through the base of the ribbing at the end of the project, so there's no need to make a decision too early on - it could easily be left off completely for a more streamline look, or a twisted cord with pompoms would make for a fun alternative.
