Written pattern
This is designed for a fuller figured, more matronly lady doll approx 5½-inches/14 cm tall. The bust area may require a little extra padding on some dolls. This may have been worn with a lace scarf in the neckline and could be worn with or without a belt.
Materials required: Size 19 (1.00 mm/US size 5/0) knitting needles, 55 to 65 yards/50 to 60 metres 1-ply wool, small amount of wool for belt, small ring or buckle for belt.
Approximate finished size: 1-inch/2.5 cm wide at waist, 2-inches/5 cm wide at chest, sleeve 1½-inches/4 cm long, height – 4-inches/10 cm.
Gauge – Gauge is not important as dolls house dolls (like humans) vary greatly in size and proportions.
