Product Details

At first glance, the geometric lines of the lace resemble the cuts of a precious stone. Once you've knit multiple repeats, bands of ribbon appear, zig zagging along the length of the shawl.

However you wish to view and appreciate the lace pattern, it's a true beauty to knit. You can knit the wider, rectangular shawl version, as shown, or a smaller scarf version, which only requires one ball of yarn!

The lace pattern is suited for knitters with lace experience. The lace pattern is both charted and written.

Samples shown are in Granstudio DROPS Kid-Silk (lilac shawl) and Elann Silken Kydd (red scarf). Other recommended mohair silk yarns are suggested. It is important that they have a strong halo, allowing the lace-weight to work on size 9 needles. Also shown in Pemboke Worsted (green scarf) if you wish to try a merino wool as a substitute, in which case please find a worsted-weight yarn.
