Product Details

A new cardigan, with delicate patterning and a shrunken, flattering fit, are exactly what your wardrobe and knitting queue need right now.

The symmetry of the all-over lace design allows for easier knitting and very pretty results.

This lace design is knit from the bottom up on the back and fronts as the body is knit in one piece. At the underarms, the back and fronts are split and finished separately with neckline and shoulder shaping.

The shoulders are joined with a 3-needle bind off. Sleeves are then picked up and knit down with an inverted v-shaped version of the lace (with optional bobbles) accenting the sleeves. Stitches are then decreased to gather the cuff. The ribbed collar and front button bands are picked up and knit. Sides and sleeves are then seamed and buttons are attached.

Shown here in a very soft, sport-weight alpaca yarn.
