Product Details
This blanket reminds me of sleeping like a child, with head and ears full of fairytales of far away countries. And who would not like to sleep like that again!
It is knitted in modules, which are attached as you go. One charming thing about this project is that it is possible to be several persons working on it simultaneously. Or making the modules in advance, to get together and assemble them. The pattern describes a baby stroller size blanket, but you can of course make it larger. Just make more stars and hexagons!
For my sample I choose a calm tan colour to frame all the hexagons, and a not so loud selfstriping blue/green for the inside of the hexagons, to be able to use more bold red and pink colours for the stars. It is all up to you!
For this size you will need: 250 g Main Colour fingering weight yarn, 100 g Contrast Colour 1 fingering weight yarn, 100 g CC2 fingering weight yarn, 100 g CC3 fingering weight yarn
