What you'll need
Product Details
Adamantite is a circular poncho. It is started from the center and worked in the round, top down, evenly increasing the stitch count until the outer edge is reached. You are always knitting on the right side of the fabric (RS), until you reach the edge portion of the poncho. The work is begun with short circular needles and continued with longer ones as the poncho grows bigger.
When the body portion is completed, the poncho is finished by knitting a lace edging sideways around the outside of the circular body portion. The edge portion is worked on both sides of the fabric (RS and WS).
The lace pattern is charted only. There are two charts: a big one for the main portion of the poncho, and a smaller one for the edge. The big chart has easily memorizable repeats, though, so it isn't overly advanced. The stitches used are k, p, yo, kfb, k2tog, skp, sk2p, M1L and M1R.
