Finally A knit and felt pattern that uses U.S. Size 13 Needles. The Adira Hat is a very quick knit for a knit and felt hat. It is knit with U.S. Size 13 needles and two strands of aran weight yarn held together. The yarn and needle combination makes it very thick and warm. My quest was to develop a pattern that could be knit in about an hour and a half by an average to fast knitter. After several tries, this pattern was developed. Aran weight yarn can be described as a heavy worsted or light bulky. The specific yarn used for this pattern is Cascade Ecological Yarn. That is not to say that other aran weight yarns will not work. But the Cascade Ecological Yarn is the only Aran that was test knitted with this hat. Two different patterns are included. The first pattern shown in light blue has a smaller brim than the other pattern. The second pattern shown in sapphire has a larger brim.
