Product Details
Afghans are truly a pleasure to make. Patchwork Afghans have the added advantage of being made up of small, very portable pieces, which can easily be made on the move.
This pattern produces an Afghan which is an ideal size for a child’s stroller or snuggle-blanket. It makes a great lap-blanket, perfect for taking off the chill when you’re sitting outside watching the sunset. It’s also great for extra warmth round your shoulders or knees on car journeys. For a larger blanket, simply make additional squares but remember that you may need more yarn.
Speaking of yarn, I've used pure wool as I like its warmth and breathability and I hand-dyed a natural wool yarn but this Malabrigo Worsted wool would be a good match or choose a machine washable worsted/aran yarn if you prefer. And of course, you could work in one or many colours!
