Product Details
I love yarn with long stretches of colour, such as Noro Obi and King Cole Galaxy DK ,and I enjoy playing with direction in knitting to change how these yarns look. The different textures of the Noro work very well with this simple eyelet pattern, which give you a lacy look but with the warmth of wool, silk and a little mohair. The name of this pattern, Aki, means autumn in Japanese, and I think this piece is perfect for wrapping around your neck as a scarf or held with a brooch or pin around shoulders to ward off the chilly air. This pattern was originally published in issue 28 of Knit Now magazine.
