Alba is one in a series of sock patterns inspired by the emotionally- and colorfully-beautiful TV show Jane the Virgin.
Alba is designed for maximum visual impact with minimal effort (meaning…no purling!). Enjoy a relaxing knit and see the pattern magically revealed when you turn the sock right-side out at the end! All of the reverse stockinette patterning with none (well, very few) of the purls.
ConstructionThis sock is knit inside-out, from the toe up with a gusset and heel flap, and is finished with a folded cuff. This allows for a reverse-stockinette pattern and a princess sole without all of the purling! There are instructions provided for calf-shaping for hybrid or in-betweenie sizes.
