Song of the Sea has two size options included in the pattern, plus new instructions for custom sizing and changing the yarn. The long cowl typically uses one 400m/437yd skein of 4ply/fingering. The snug cowl can be made from a smaller 365m/400yd skein.
Midnight Ocean is designed to use one 150g skeins with 600m/656yds yarn. It’s the perfect thing to wear when the weather isn’t quite cold enough for a jacket.
They make great gifts, especially Song of the Sea, since it’s a really versatile piece.
