Alpaca Ascot Cravat

A warm stylish little ascot cravat scarf, this fun accessory makes an elegant gift or sweet vintage inspired addition to your own wardrobe. Wear it with or without the scarf ring. Dress it up with a vintage brooch or secure it with a modern scarf pin to match your outfit.

This is a very simple project requiring 3.5mm/US No 4 DPNs or a circular needle and two stitch markers. The body of the scarf is worked in the round with simple increases and decreases forming the tips. The optional removable scarf ring is created separately in the round.

Easily customised,knit in the Australian Alpaca yarn suggested or choose your own (length and width will vary depending on your yarn choice).

Pattern testing indicates that this little scarf can be completed by an intermediate knitter in around 9 hours, making it a perfect weekend project.
