This unisex hat is worked from the brim to the crown. Using only one skein of yarn (or less!), it's a quick knit when you need a hat in a hurry. Beginning with a garter rib brim, the hat features columns of slipped stitches that transition seamlessly into the crown decreases. The pattern is available in five sizes, with a finished circumference of 16 (18, 20, 22, 24) in./40.5 (45.5, 50.5, 56, 61) cm and height of 5.75 (6.5, 7.25, 8.25, 9.25) in./14 (16.5, 18.5, 21, 23.5) cm. To knit his pattern, you will need to know how to knit and purl in the round, slip stitches, and do basic decreases (ssk and k2tog). Approximate amount of yarn needed for each size: Infant: 70 yds./64 m; Toddler: 80 yds./73 m; Child/Teen: 110 yds./100 m; Adult Small: 130 yds./119 m; Adult Large: 170 yds./156 m.
