The gauge isn't important, since Fay grows or shrinks depending on your preferable hooksize.
Fay measures about 19 cm when I crochet her with 1.5mm. When you go up a hooksize, she might be bigger, but proportions remain intact. I created Fay to celebrate Nurses around the world and the work they do. Her dress is based on the older Nurses clothing they used to wear in the Netherlands.
