Product Details
This shawl design is based on my favorite poem and is my homage to Poe. The lace pattern is a study in negative space and motion. The solid rectangles represent caskets and the decreases flow in different directions to give the piece the feel of an angry ocean.
Finished Measurements: Length is adjustable in 9" increments. Length 72”/183cm Width: 22”/56cm
Pattern requires a provisional cast on. An applied border is worked on both the cast on and bound off edges. Detailed instructions are included for both, but this is the reason pattern is listed under "advanced". The lace pattern is actually quite easy to follow.
I used Louisa Harding Pittura in colorway "Starry Night", and it was the perfect combination of drape and color.
