Product Details
Anthos (Greek for flower) is a Scandinavian-inspired cowl with a lovely floral colorwork pattern from Mary Jane Mucklestone’s 150 Scandinavian Motifs. The cowl is knit in the round from end to end and twisted before the two ends are joined. Solid blocks of color break up the flower sections to give you a little break from the stranded colorwork and to create a fun color-and-pattern blocked look. While slightly more involved than Cruces, Flores’ colorwork is still simple and easy to memorize – and it gives you a pop of Scandinavian style without going overboard.
The sample is knit with Anzula Luxury Fibers Cricket (80% Superwash Merino, 10% Nylon, 10% Cashmere), an alternative yarn is shown below.
