Product Details
This pattern has been in the works for eight years! Apple blossoms have a special place in my heart and dreams. The "dream" for this afghan design was to create a five petal apple blossom (with stamen) trying to imitate nature as close as possible.
A pentagon granny motif worked for the blossom; however, pentagons joined together eventually created a round ball. That was not going to work for the afghan, maybe a pillow, but not an afghan. Armed with the NVO (my Norsk Via Osmosis hubby), his math skills, a little creativity, and the afghan dream came true!
Let this pattern guide you in making this lovely apple blossom afghan. Its fresh and soft design is ideal for many applications. Cozy on up for cooler days/evenings. Wrap baby snuggly for a stroll, or surprise that special person with a napping or displaying afghan; sure to become an heirloom. Oh and think of the color possibilities!
20 pages of step-by-step photos, with the last 2 pages a "short-hand" version. 4 video links included.
