Product Details

I wanted to design something that didn’t need a lot of concentration, so I could watch the TV while I knitted, but I still wanted to create a sweater that was strong on style, and that the man in my life would love.

This sweater is the result.

Two shades of the same color play supporting roles to the contrast stripes that add the ‘pop’ to this design. The stripes are placed at the chest and upper arm to add visual width to this area, and to focus the eye on the upper body.

It’s worked flat in four pieces, and it’s made in stockinette/stocking stitch.

The sleeves are set-in for a good fit, and the turtle neck is not over-tight.

This sweater is designed to fit with 2 in/5 cm ease, but a larger size can be chosen if a looser fit is wanted.

The pattern is fully written out and a schematic is included.

Tip from a Pattern Tester: the stripes on the upper body actually make it easier to sew the pieces together, because you can be sure that the seam is going together as intended
